Mykonos Running Festival: A Multi-Day, Multi-Level Experience

In its second year, the Mykonos Running Festival stands out as more than just your average sporting event. It's a multi-day, multi-level experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional races, combining sportsmanship, tourism, environmental consciousness, cultural enrichment, and social responsibility. The festival extends multiple days, allowing participants and spectators to fully embrace the event and the island's beauty.

Members of Team Amyth of Mykonos Agios Stefanos enthusiastically participated in both, the Half Marathon Race 20km and the Mykonos Family Run 2.5km. In the Half Marathon Race, Panayiotis Savva secured the 21st position, closely followed by Arestis Chilidis at the 30th position. Marianna Michael finished 40th, while Ioanna Marinina came in at 53rd. Marija Mitchell achieved the 56th position, and Dobromir Kostov secured the 57th spot. Additionally, Alexandra Ntina and Theodora Papaioannou took part in the 2.5km Mykonos Family Run.

We feel privileged to have been a part of this significant event for the island of Mykonos and to have played a role in supporting the local community.

One of the core elements of Thanos Hotels and Resorts' corporate identity and values is their commitment to promoting sports and motivating their employees to participate in such events. To demonstrate this commitment, the company generously sponsored a team of nine of their staff members, covering not only their registration fees but also their travel and accommodation expenses.
