The Best Places in Mykonos For a Girls Trip

Known for its hedonistic parties and chic beach clubs, Mykonos is the ultimate destination for a fun girls’ trip. From beachside hotels to new restaurants for summer 2025, here are the places to book now…

STAY
Whether you’re visiting Mykonos for the first time or returning for a trip with the girls, the island has an impressive range of accommodation, each bringing something unique to the table. The newest buzzworthy opening is Deos, a striking hilltop hotel just moments from Mykonos Town. Expect whitewashed buildings that blend into the surroundings, plenty of natural textures and an infinity pool you’ve probably seen on Instagram. The largest residence, Omega, sleeps up to five with an outdoor living area and panoramic sea views. Not far away is Kalesma, which feels like its very own village. Everything here oozes luxury, from the décor and the private dining experiences to the pool bar with its resident DJ spinning soft house tunes and poolside classics.

Meanwhile, Bill & Coo has long been a go-to for its romantic, modern aesthetic – its split properties (one for suites, one for adults-only relaxation) mean you can tailor your experience depending on your vibe. We recommend a stay at Bill & Coo Mykonos near Mykonos Town, where you can lounge in your own private pool before hitting the nearby bars. Amyth of Mykonos, part of the Thanos Hotels group, is another boutique property with cool interiors, a friendly vibe and just enough buzz for it to feel lively without it being overwhelming. Here, you can enjoy everything from private cruises and horseback riding along the beach to booking private island tours to discover Mykonos’s hidden coves.

Then there’s Santa Marina, a favourite among those in the know for its beautiful private beach and slick service. Traditional Greek architecture and whitewashed rooms are matched to bamboo furniture and wooden accents. Choose a suite or book the Presidential Villa if you’re after a private pool with island views. And if you want laidback elegance and a more secluded feel, Cali Mykonos is a dreamy option. Set above a private cove on the island’s quieter east coast, it offers minimalist luxury with holistic wellness offerings, a serene pool scene and discreet service.

EAT & DRINK
Mykonos has evolved into an exciting dining destination where you’ll find traditional Greek cuisine alongside buzzy international names that draw in big-name DJs. Daytimes are made for long, leisurely lunches by the sea. Nammos continues to reign as one of the island’s most popular beachside restaurants, where fresh lobster, spicy tuna rolls and truffle fries are washed down with Magnums of rosé – often to a backdrop of dancing on tables by 4pm. Another top choice is Zuma, perched above the bay with an infinity pool and panoramic views. Expect high-end Japanese dishes and party-restaurant energy. The group’s outpost here has one of the best views of any restaurant on the island, with DJs who set the scene as the sun sets.

For something new, book a table at LPM. The iconic French Riviera export has found a natural home in Mykonos, offering its signature light Mediterranean dishes like sea bream carpaccio and salt-baked chicken in a chic, flower-filled courtyard. As the sun sets, the island comes alive with restaurants that transition from day to night. Noema is a standout – not just for its open-air dining room and sleek interiors, but for its elevated take on Greek cuisine using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. It’s the kind of place where you settle in for the evening; order a few dishes to share and end up dancing under the stars (with a few celeb spots along the way).

Badalaya is another new name on the scene, with a beautiful courtyard and modern Greek menu that’s both polished and creative – think lamb with black garlic, whipped feta and zingy cocktails. Afterwards, you’ll want to head to a rooftop bar like Skybar or 180°, both of which are must-visits for drinks, especially around golden hour.

For something more grounded and rustic, Rizes offers a welcome shift away from the glitz – this family-run taverna is set inland on a working farm, with traditional décor and hearty Greek dishes cooked over fire. It's a great way to experience the island's slower pace. And if you like the idea of relaxed lunches by the sea, book a table at Beefbar Mykonos, a luxurious import known for its indulgent comfort food. Here you can tuck into fresh seafood dishes with a crisp glass of white, before relaxing on the pristine stretch of beach below.

PARTY
Mykonos has long been a byword for hedonism – and for good reason. The party scene here is seriously fun, with something for everyone, whether you want to dance barefoot by the beach, sip cocktails at a rooftop bar or go all out at a mega club with international DJs. Scorpios continues to reign supreme in terms of island nightlife – part beach club, part ‘spiritual gathering’ place, its open-air setting, signature rituals and curated music line-up attracts a global crowd.
Spend the day lounging on linen-covered daybeds, then stay for the sunset ceremony and dance well into the night. Alemagou on Ftelia beach offers a similarly free-spirited atmosphere with a slightly more laidback, boho aesthetic – expect organic wines, natural wood interiors and a cool, creative crowd.

Ftelia by Pacha, also on the island’s northern coast, is another one of our favourite spots on the island. Its day-to-night offering means you can stop in for lunch, walk down its wooden steps straight into the sea and return for an evening of dancing to live music. And the 70s-inspired Almiriki at the newly opened Sunrise Beach Hotel is high on our list of places to visit this summer. When it opens later this season, guests will be able to relax under the shade of Tamarisk trees while enjoying locally sourced Mediterranean dishes, with ingredients from the family’s private farm.

Finally, for something a little more local and low-key, Semeli Bar is known for its unpretentious vibe, varied music and regular crowd of in-the-know islanders. And if you’re staying out past midnight – which, let’s be honest, you probably are – the classic trio of Astra, Void and Moni should be on your radar. Astra blends 90s glamour with contemporary house music in a twinkling courtyard, Void is the big-room club for those after a proper night out, and Moni offers a more intimate space where you’re just as likely to spot a supermodel as a DJ behind the decks.
